The Eagles have for many years contributed to many of our local non-profit and charitable organizations. While we as an organization believe very strongly in giving back to our community we ourselves have been challenged financially. So in                an effort to continue to help others and build a stronger relationship with organizations outside of our own we are instituting           “People Helping People” an opportunity to raise funds for your organization.

 Here is how it will work: Many people in the La Crosse area know that we are famous for our Steak and Fish Fry’s and they are one of our best fundraisers. So we are offering to you an opportunity to round up eight to ten volunteers, pick a date from our calendar and show up for four to five hours to help prepare, serve and cleanup after the meal. We will provide the cook so as to have continuity in the quality of our meals. You provide the staffing. We will then give your organization $150 for your efforts.

 In addition to the $150 you will also be allowed an opportunity to hold a raffle and solicit patrons to raise additional funds. Tickets may not be more than $1 a piece or 6 for $5 and you provide the item to be raffled or you may purchase from us gift certificates for our meals and raffle those.

 You will need at least two people to serve the meals as they are ready, one to work in the kitchen preparing the plates of food, two to run the dishwasher and two to serve coffee and beverages as well as buss and reset tables. You also need one or two people to come in by 4:00PM to set the salad bar, make coffee and run orders from our cashier to the kitchen. If you are planning to raffle off any items you will also need a person to sit out by the cashier to do that. So again eight people works great, ten makes the load even lighter. More than ten is too many.

 So if you are looking for a way to raise funds and have a good time working together and sharing some great camaraderie here is your opportunity. Invite your family and friends to come down for a great meal.
